Journey to the Centre
Kairos in Soho has been working for four years now on the development of significant LGBT community space in London. The current working title for the project is Identity Building.

Key stages in the background to this project have been:
KiS’s ‘Speak out about Soho Consultation Series, which engaged local and London LGBT and non-LGBT people in dialogue about hopes and aspirations for Soho 2005–2006
Publication of the Soho Action Plan which included LGBT experience and aspirations, and a priority to carry out a Feasibility Study in to the project’s potential impact 2007
Success in securing commitment from Westminster City Council to fund the study 2008
KiS’s Dare to Dream Consultation Event, 2009, and publication of Identity Building

Second Generation
Second Generation is a ground breaking Project engaging the LGBT community, family, friends and allies in the development of space.
The project aims to build a sense of ‘LGBT Community’ in London, bring on board families and friends, and increase engagement in the Community Identity Building Project. More information soon.
