TAF has been set up within Westminster
to change this – Help us to help you!
"TELL A FRIEND" (TAF) is a new
concept in partnership working to try and address the under reporting
of crime within the LGBT community in Westminster.
A "Friend" is a person from one
of the partnering organisations who can help you to report incidents
to police. If you want some help, look at our list of TAF partners
to see which one is best for you.
To make a report yourself, please complete
one of the forms/ booklets that are available from, ourselves various
pubs and other LGBT venues within Westminster.
Once the form has been filled out,
either drop it into the Community Safety Office at 15 Moor Street,
Soho or send it to West End Central Police Station through the post.
If you wish to be contacted someone WILL do so. If
you do not wish to be contacted your information will NOT be ignored
it will be used by the police to get a more realistic picture of
what is happening.
If you would prefer, you can drop in to Kairos
in Soho, The
Community Safety Office or C.L.A.S.H.
and have one of their staff fill out a report on your behalf.
If you agree for us to contact you a specially
trained officer will do so from the Westminster Community Safety
Unit when and how YOU choose.
